This work addresses collective action and organizational culture in the context of the Mennonite community and its cooperative practices in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, Mexico; a clear example of a community that has managed to generate benefits for most of its members. The hypothesis formulated results from the observation of a social reality in which the sum of individual interests in a specific socio-cultural context such as that of the Mennonite community in Cuauhtémoc is capable of generating collective benefits.
