Scott N. Romaniuk is a Researcher in the School of International Studies, University of Trento, Italy, and the editor of Insurgency and Counterinsurgency in Modern War (2015) and The Palgrave Handbook of Global Counterterrorism Policy (2017). He is an Associate Researcher at the Center for the Studies of Targeted Killing, University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, US. Eugenio Dacrema is a PhD student at the University of Trento. Daniel Koehler is Director of the German Institute on Radicalization and De-Radicalization Studies (GIRDS). He is the author of Understanding Deradicalization: Methods, Tools and Programs for Countering Violent Extremism (Routledge 2016) and Right-Wing Terrorism in the 21st Century (Routledge 2018).
