Albert P. Philipse is Professor of Physical Chemistry at the Van' t Hoff Laboratory for Physical and Colloid Chemistry, Utrecht University. His primary research interests are synthesis, thermodynamics, and transport properties of magnetic fluids, and dispersions of non-spherical and charged colloids. Since 2015 he has been Director of the Nanomaterials Science Masters program at Utrecht University. He teaches physical chemistry, thermodynamics, and colloid science at Bachelor, Master, and PhD level.
