Nancy has spent her life in the West and has always been fascinated by its history. She has written numerous articles and six books about the American frontier, its visionaries and its people, their courage, endurance and dreams. She lives in Colorado, where history is nearby in the state's historic buildings and old mining camps, reminders of a dynamic time.
