In this present world, the philosophers from different traditions have a lot of possibilities to interact with other traditions. The attempt to glorify one's own tradition without even listening to the views of the other tradition is not tolerable. Instead, mutual interactions and learning are recommended in the philosophical discussions. The truth has to be accepted without any prejudice. The philosophers have to approach the philosophical discussion with much openness. This would bring new results in their studies. Here is the need of cross-cultural philosophizing. The present study tries to find out the best suitable method for cross-cultural philosophizing.
Autorenporträt
The author is originally from India and at present a philosophy PhD research student in Innsbruck University. He has a Master degree in Philosophy and a Magister degree in Pastoral Theology. He has wide knowledge in Indian philosophy and in analytical philosophy. A comparative study of different ontological understandings is his present project.
