Claudete Pagotto has a PhD in Sociology from IFCH/UNICAMP/SP, a master's degree in Social Sciences from PUC/SP and a degree in Social Sciences from Fundação Santo André/SP. She researches topics related to the world of work, outsourcing, labour cooperatives, associated production and the solidarity economy.
