The present investigation had as purpose to demonstrate that the workshop of comics reduces the burnout in the students of the VI cycle of the initial education career of the Instituto de Educación Superior Pedagógico Público Indoamérica, Trujillo 2019. This study presents a methodology and explanatory type, with pre-experimental. The study sample consisted of 21 students of this higher educational institution registered in the VI cycle of the career. The Burnout Inventory [MBI] and an observation guide were used as an instrument for data collection, the questionnaire was directed to the students twice, in the pre-test and post-test. The results showed that the predominant level of burnout before developing the cartoon workshop was medium with 66.67%; while, after the implementation of the workshop it was reduced to 57.14%, concluding that the cartoon workshop reduces burnout in students of the VI cycle of the initial education career, Trujillo 2019, presenting statistically significant differences (Z=-2.574; p<0.05) between the pre-test and post-test.
