It is a book of my memoirs, chronicling my journey from New Jersey to Michigan, then to Japan, and finally to California. Essentially, it is a chronological autobiography, sharing my life story one chapter at a time, with a focus on the significance of listening and helping, and the valuable lessons derived from these experiences. The underlying theme is fostering respect and love for people. Within the narrative are various encounters, including my travels to thirty-three countries in 7 months during seminary, counseling in Kenya for 7 months, exploring healing practices in Rwanda, and engaging in counseling and chaplaincy work in California. The book also delves into the challenges of living and working in the captivating culture of Japan.
