Commercial law is a branch of private law in the sense that it governs relationships between traders. It intervenes at all stages of economic life. The origin and evolution of this right lie in the history of commercial law. The speed of operations, the importance of credit, its history dates back to the Middle Ages and is quite difficult to retrace due to the absence of commercial activity. And, with the commercial court, the notion of territoriality takes precedence when judging a commercial matter. This means that the court which judges a commercial matter must be in the territory where the problem or dispute occurred.
