Empowering small-scale farmers in low-middle-income countries to increase the production of fresh vegetables in environmentally, economically and socially sustainable ways is a priority if we are to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. Farmers have an array of options when it comes to deciding what to grow, when and where. They can select diversified cropping systems adapted to their environment, seasons, changes in climate and according to market demands. This book has been prepared to support the Unemployed Graduates for commercial vegetable production which will encourage the increased consumption of nutritious food to promote promote a healthy global population and increased wellbeing through thriving food systems with sustainable production.

Ph D in Vegetable Science with Experience of 14 years in research teaching &extension. 5 MSc students have completed their thesis work in her guidance. Have guided 10 students including 4 PhD students in various capacities at Faculty. She has to his credit almost 30 research publications, popular scientific articles, manuals and technical bulletin.
