No motive? And still no perpetrator caught. The perpetrator brazenly tries again in the hospital. Thanks to Paola's husband, Clarissa is saved.
Paola and Maria cannot find a good clue at first. They're investigating feverishly. Milano and Bologna are other stops to investigate. Again nothing!
The serial offender continues undeterred, until another woman is cruelly attacked and loses her life at the crime scene.
Frustration and anger drive the investigators. At some point, the notorious knot bursts among the ladies. Evidence is needed! You fixate on a specific person, but was it really that person?
Does Paola get dangerously close to the perpetrator so that she gets into his spotlight? The past may be lame and limp at times, but it inevitably catches up with you at some point ...
An excellent Italian crime thriller and you can even learn some Italian along the way as a sort of bonus. And all thanks to Shakespeare's romantically veiled tragic love story "Romeo and Juliet". Fun Fact: There is an office in Verona where you can send letters to Julia, which will eventually all be answered!
Paola and Maria are a great investigative couple and a synergetic power duo. You can, should and absolutely have to keep going. Clever, witty, smart, the protagonists and also the plot. Exciting and captivating! I like Paola and Maria very much!
Psychologically balanced and profound. With good timing and without lengths, accelerating!
Excellently and fluidly written and I really enjoyed reading this book. Would love to have more of this!
