He calls these, the Imaginary Boundaries of the mind. Cantu contends that we are blinded by these imaginary boundaries that are often passed down from generation to generation, so much so that we have lost our inner connection to one another. Reminding us that we must discontinue to dispute whether we are Republican or Democratic, Jewish or Christian, American or Russian, etc. Behind all the labels we give ourselves, remains this reality, we are merely human beings.
