Carrie Alexander Colella holds a doctorate of education in organizational leadership from the graduate school of business and management from Argosy University, Washington, DC, campus. She received a master of social work degree from Howard University, Washington, DC, and a bachelor of science from the University of West Georgia, Carrollton, Georgia. She worked in the child welfare profession for twenty years post-master's degree and has a particular interest in communication practices in large organizations and how these practices directly affect those working in the organizations as well as how these practices affect outcomes for children.
