To talk about death is to talk about a subject that worries and disturbs human beings at all times of their existence, consequently many do not like to think or write about it. This research focused on studying the main communicative practices of the funeral ceremonies in Cuito Bie, as an expression of an identity. It is based on three important assumptions, besides the assumptions about communicative practices given by Portal 2003, from a viewpoint of intercultural communication, whose scientific problem is: What are the characteristics of the communicative practices in the Cuito Bie ceremonies.
