Home injuries among children under six years old are known to cause serious problems to children unless being managed as soon as possible in a correct way. Prevention and control of unintentional home injuries among children has been recently a target and very important area for health promotion of the community. As children learn through experience, minor injuries are inevitable, but providing a safe environment can reduce the risks, coupled with close supervision and setting the limits of safety. Mothers should remember that they need to maintain a constant balance between over-protecting their children on one hand and giving them freedom in the process of learning the hazards of their daily living environment.
