Autorenporträt
Dr. Jiefeng Hu received a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. He is currently an associate professor in power electronics and smart microgrids. He is a stream leader of the Centre for New Energy Transition Research (CfNETR) and the program coordinator (electrical engineering) of the Institute of Innovation, Science and Sustainability (IISS) at Federation University Australia. Previously, he was an assistant professor at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he led an international team to develop renewable energy technologies for smart cities. Over the past years, supported by both government and industry sectors, Dr. Hu has led several projects exceeding AU$ 3M in funding to conduct cutting-edge research. He has a career total of more than 150 research outputs, including one authored book, one edited book, one book chapter, 89 refereed journal articles, 56 refereed conference proceedings, and one patent. He serves as an editor/ associate editor on prestigious IET and IEEE journals.
