Out comes from the program in general and public works in particular, are expected to have long-run community level effects on food security. Many analysts of the program in turn agree that whatever it comes depends on the degree to which target people involve in the program and the quality and sustainability of the work products. The study in this book tried to assesses the practical experiences of Ethiopian Productive Safety net program from Boricah woreda community, Sidama zone. Sustainable livelihood approach was employed to look at household and community level effects of the program.
