In Ethiopia even if quality control for different pharmaceuticals done but postmarket survailane is not strongly performed . In this study four brands of Ibuprofen tablets was taken from drug retail outlets of Jimma town; west Ethiopia and evaluated for the different physicochemical properties. All the tests are performed in the quality control departement of Drug administration and control autority of ethiopia . Test is performed according to BP. and USP. pharmacopeial specification.
