The scope of project management is so wide that the decisions made by a project manager are very crucial in achieving the objectives of a project from the start as the project manager's principal responsibilities are to deliver the project end-item within budget and time limitations, in accordance with technical specifications and in fulfillment of project objectives. These are depended on the prudence of a project manager in dealing with uncertainties; a major feature of the construction industry. There are court cases where extra rectification, delay and financing cost were claimed and upheld against project managers because they were not prudent.
