With the idea that Congolese schools in general are characterized by a form ofindividual and/or and/or selective assessment, the gradual incorporation of the PAP approach into the teaching-learning process also requires another form, which we might callgroup assessment which is undoubtedly based on the active participation of learners. These two forms of assessment therefore attracted our attention, and we set out in this study to identify the one that best contributes to learners' academic performance. In other words, the aim of this study is to understand whether the practice ofgroup assessment has a significant influence on learners' academic results, compared withindividual assessment.Far from being a mere academic formality, this end-of-study project will provide all those involved in the education sector with a clearer picture of the performance and/or effectiveness of group work in the process of assessing student learning.
