The aim of this study was to consider the main skills and competencies needed by teachers at undergraduate level to train administrators in Brazil, as well as the perception of teachers on the undergraduate Business Administration course at the Juscelino Kubitschek Faculty, in relation to competencies as qualifications, as personal characteristics and as behavior. The evolution of Administration has made it possible to consider functions such as planning, organizing, commanding and controlling, in both the public and private sectors. Skills and competences are directly related to these functions, so as to enable managers to carry out their activities, combining theory with practice. The aim of an administration course is to train competent professionals for competitive markets, developing the student's entrepreneurial spirit. The research used the available literature, with emphasis on the National Curriculum Guidelines (DCNs).
