In recent years Competency Based Learning has been implemented by many Universities around the world. This competency-based model evaluates students according to their mastery of the skills and/or learning outcomes they obtain. This book contains the Subject Plan with the minimum contents to generate the competency in Strategic Planning using the Balanced Scorecard and Strategy Maps methodologies, with emphasis on the definition of strategic thinking, organizational strategic diagnosis, identification of key success factors, strategy formulation and organizational alignment; including evaluation activities for each of the conceptual, procedural and attitudinal competencies. It also includes the design of the Learning Unit Plan for Strategy Formulation, which specifies the didactic sequence to provide students with the necessary skills to formulate and implement a strategy, considering technical aspects that guarantee a strategic design in accordance with the characteristics of the organization's external environment.
