Autorenporträt
Carol Robinson Marrs is a wife, mother, teacher, and writer. She received a degree in speech, drama, and English education from West Texas State University and was a junior high and high school teacher for many years. Lots of her students have won individual speaking awards, and many of her teams have won trophies. In addition to The Complete Book of Speech Communication, Marrs wrote and self-published a book of children's poetry entitled Pet Cobwebs, which her husband, Greg, illustrated. With her brother, Dale, she co-produced an audiotape of poems and songs from Pet Cobwebs. She enjoys visiting local schools where she performs her poetry and songs for groups of students. Her writings include skits, plays, short stories, and greeting cards. She and her husband, Greg, have two children.
