Objective : To evaluate compliance indicators for medical imaging examination requests. Materials and methods: Prospective, cross-sectional study conducted from January 03 to March 02, 2023 (2 months), with exhaustive sampling. The variables analyzed were the various compliance criteria grouped into administrative, clinical and minor criteria. Results : Of a sample of 605 requests for imaging examinations, ultrasound accounted for 61.8%. Requests involving all 8 compliance criteria were very low, at 0.2%. Conclusion : At the end of this study, we noted a lack of quality in the prescription of medical imaging requests, as almost all requests did not comply with all 8 criteria.Key words: Compliance, examination requests, medical imaging, Bougouni referral health center.
