Esthetic restorations are in vogue today and their demand is increasing day by day. Composites represent major advances in restorative dentistry. But Being technique-sensitive materials, failure at the tooth-restoration interface may also occur (Roulet, 1997). As a result, managing of failed restorations is a common problem encountered in daily practice. Therefore, this library dissertation is an attempt to critically analyze the various reasons why a composite restoration may fail and to find ways to overcome them so that the placement of resin restorations in day- to day life becomes a predictable and satisfying procedure.
