Produktbeschreibung
The monograph presents issues related to the use of computer techniques in handwriting casework examination. The results of research conducted within the development project funded by the National Centre for Research and Development have led to the elaboration of two computer programmes GLOBALGRAF I and GLOBALGRAF II, which can be helpful in analyzing and assessing the conformity between graphometric and motor parameters of handwriting. The application of computer-based methods for analysis of graphometric and graphomotoric features in identification of handwriting creates the possibilities of utilising new metric parameters in handwriting examination as well as using the parameters, which had been already applied however sporadically. Computer programmes allow to compare valuable and distinctive characteristics of writing style, such as graphometric and motoric features, which reflect individual habits of a writer both in relation to structural and geometric layer and in terms of shading and pressure of handwriting. They also contribute to raising the level of objectivity of handwriting examination and verification of results.
