Alan Parkin graduated in Moral Sciences at Peterhouse, Cambridge, in 1958. He got two first prizes for wallpaper and fabrics in the Sanderson Centenary competition, 1958. In 1959 he woreked and traveled in France, Spain, Marocco and Italy. He was production Editor, Architects' Journal, London, 1960, Henrion Design Associates, London, 1961-70. He co-author with FHK Henrion the book Design Coordination and Corporate Image (Studio Vista, 1967). His further activites included being exhibitor, Cybernetic Serendipity, ICA London, 1968, programmer at Doxiadis Associates, Athens, 1971, systems analyst, Computer Techniques International, Athens 1972-83, and director, London, 1983-2000. He authored dthe book Digital Imaging (Springer, 2016).
