The book is about the feasibility study in using solar energy to generate fully renewable fuels to substitute fossil fuel in the market. The angle of attack of this research is the process modeling of the non-stoichiometric redox cycle of cerium-oxide which produces synthetic gas. The syn-gas, or we know it as the magic gas, can be converted further into synthetic diesel, synthetic gasoline, methanol or ethanol. The author uses sensitivity analysis to see what will affect the economic feasibility of the fuel generation plant and under which conditions that the ambitious scheme can really be able to substitute fossil fuels.
