With the aid of three different studies which were conducted at major companies, it is shown how the effectiveness of vocational further training Measures can be examined. The model of the didactic field provides the starting point for a scientific study of courses for specialist further training and data processing. This model is used to present the factors with the greatest influence on the learning transfer of further training participants. Practical consequences derived from this can make a major contribution towards the optimization of further training in these fields.
