Gary Smith is an experienced freelance translator. He has given webinars and talks at many translation congresses internationally and around Spain and was the president of the Valencia region's association of translators and interpreters, La Xarxa (www.xarxativ.es). Currently he represents IAPTI for Spain. He has also published articles in the American Translators Association's monthly magazine, The Chronicle, and other reputable online media. He currently serves on the IAPTI board for the region of Spain.
