Elle a étudié la linguistique et la littérature hispanique et obtenu une maîtrise en littérature à la BUAP, obtenant la mention Cum Laude dans cette dernière. Elle travaille actuellement en tant que soutien technique pédagogique dans une sous-direction académique et enseigne la littérature I et II au niveau secondaire supérieur.
