The GEOS France meeting held on November 8, 2023 at the French National Assembly on the subject of the Port-Bouët, airport, port of Abidjan and Lomo Nord axis being transformed into a multinational camp, as confirmed by General Didier Castres, is an epic message in the run-up to the 2025 presidential elections. This French approach to appropriating Ivorian territories, natural resources and even energy resources is tantamount to neo-colonialism. Moreover, this archaic approach to the exploitation of man by man puts an end to the rise in the country's HDI since its so-called independence, confirming the choice made by the guarantor of the Ivorian state from outside. This choice, demanded by international players, generates a high cost of living in almost all cases. It remains to be seen whether this idea of GEOS will awaken the consciences and senses of the political players involved in safeguarding the country's sovereignty, now, in 2025 and in the future.
