Moreover, this archaic approach to the exploitation of man by man puts an end to the rise in the country's HDI since its so-called independence, confirming the choice made by the guarantor of the Ivorian state from outside. This choice, demanded by international players, generates a high cost of living in almost all cases. It remains to be seen whether this idea of GEOS will awaken the consciences and senses of the political players involved in safeguarding the country's sovereignty, now, in 2025 and in the future.
