The book begins with the theoretical perspectives on conflict management and harmony building. Xiaodong Dai is Associate Professor of Foreign Languages College of Shanghai Normal University, P. R. China. He currently serves as the Vice President of the China Association for Intercultural Communication (CAFIC). Guo-Ming Chen is Emeritus Professor of Communication Studies at the University of Rhode Island, USA. He is the founding president of the Association for Chinese Communication Studies. He served as the Executive Director (2008-2014) and President of the International Association for Intercultural Communication Studies (2015-2017). Chen has published numerous books, articles, and book chapters.
