SRs utilize the explicit criteria for retrieval, assessment and synthesis of evidence from individual RCTs and other well controlled methods. It also provides a way of managing large quantities of information and making it easy to keep current with new research. MAs is a statistical process used to combine the data from individual studies in SR which increase the precision of estimates of treatment.
