As a mechanism for erasing the criminal nature of an offense, amnesty is a political institution whose purpose is to grant a legal pardon to the perpetrators of offenses or crimes committed during a given period. This book focuses on the different amnesty laws passed by the Congolese government and the consequences of this law in relation to the principle of the imprescriptibility of international crimes and finally the fate of the victims in relation to this law.
