In France over the last few years, the healthcare sector has seen a pivot in its internal connections. Long stagnant due to a lack of autonomy on the part of individuals, and hamstrung by a procedural administration, it is undergoing a transformation thanks to technological innovations. In this work, we will explain how the advent of the Internet of Things and Big Data is enabling this transformation. Health is giving way to e-health (or digital health), enabling anyone to monitor their own health, and the hospital as we know it is giving way to Hospital 2.0, equipped with the latest technology to save considerable time and transfer information instantly. Despite this fundamental change of direction in shaping the medical industry of the future, there are still certain limits to the data and reliability of connected health devices, creating uncertainty about their use.
