Autorenporträt

Elke Cheetham was born in Germany, and moved to the south of England after meeting an English man, where she raised her three children. After getting her Degree in Hypnotherapy she ran a practice in the UK for some years before returning back to Germany with her family in 1994. Besides being a dedicated mother, she completed her business degree with a focus on travel and worked in various fields for the past 15 years. In her free time, besides crocheting little bears and other cuddly toys or painting landscapes, she also sometimes house-sits her daughter's British Short hair cat by the name of "Connor", who inspired her to write her very first children-book, "Connor the Cat", which was released in 2018 on Amazon and in 2020 the 2nd book "Connor the cat at the vet". Both stories were turned into beautifully illustrated books by her youngest daughter Natalie, who did a BA(Hons) in Illustration and Animation and published with the help of her eldest daughter, who is a bestselling author in a different genre.
