Laia Aguilar es matrona, consultora experta en lactancia IBCLC y directora de LactApp Medical. Ha acompañado el embarazo y el posparto de multitud de madres desde la atención primaria pública, es miembro fundadora del Comité de Lactancia del área de salud pública de Barcelona y ha integrado como experta la Mesa Asesora por los Cuidados del Ministerio de Igualdad. Desde 2016 forma parte de LactApp, la app sobre lactancia materna líder en el mundo, donde dirige la aplicación para profesionales Lact App Medical, coordina un equipo de investigación científica centrado en lactancia materna y dispone de consulta en LactApp Clinic. Es profesora del posgrado Experto en Lactancia Materna de LactApp-Universitat Ramon Lllull, ha realizado formaciones para el Instituto Catalán de la Salud y se encuentra realizando el doctorado en la Universitat Jaume I de Valencia.
