Ingrid Fredriksson, PhD, is a Swedish author with 20 books in Swedish and English, alongside numerous scientific articles and a dissertation exploring consciousness and epigenetics, which she delves deeper into in this book. She has also studied public health. Her interest in consciousness arose when she chanced upon a conference on consciousness in Stockholm in 2006.
