The review showed that confinement was one of the main reasons that influenced the symptoms of stress and anxiety in the general population; however, in students, in addition to the previous reason, it was found that the excess of work and the difficulty to adapt to the new school modality were factors that negatively influenced their mental health (Lovón and Cisneros, 2020; Vivanco, Saroli, Caycho, Carbajal, & Noe, 2020; Toribio, 2021; Pérez, Vázquez, & Cambero, 2021; Prada, Gamboa, & Hernández, 2021).
