This book is a research report of an evaluation of a school-based environmental education programme coordinated by the foremost Nigerian Non-Governmental environmental protection- the Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF). The evaluation report firstly provided an expose of the antecedents necessitating the establishment of NCF Schools Conservation Club Programme. The evaluation was with the main intent of empirically examining and describing the profile of the members and coordinators of the Club in Lagos State secondary schools as well as their perceptions as to the measure of its success. The outcome of the programme on its members was also examined. In addition, the evaluation of the programme brought into focus the relationships among the identified school, coordinator and member variables and the outcomes of the programme on its members. The research report exposes readers to approaches to programme evaluation and contemporary issues in environmental education, especially school-based environmental education programmes.
