Die Autorin wurde im September 1966 in Santiago de Cuba geboren. Sie ist Diplomingenieurin für Metallurgie, hat einen Master in Hochschulwissenschaften und ist Spezialistin für Tourismusmarketing. Sie hat weitere Werke über Bildung, Tourismus und Kultur zum Wohle der Entwicklung Kubas als Nation veröffentlicht.
