This book offers a spectrum in which the meaning consolation fluctuates in accordance with the spatial practice that seeks to employ modes of coping with grief and bereavement. It provides both theoretical and empirical chapters, and is also structured by a division that separates European-placed chapters from chapters focused outside the 'Global North'.
