ABOUT THE BOOKConstitutional Law (A Guide for Beginners) is a book which provides for an account of the general principles of constitutional law applicable in Mainland Tanzania and the world generally. It is the book which provides for the knowledge of constitutional law and constitutional law principles as understood by the constitutional lawyers in the world. The aim of this book is to state the constitutional law rules and principles and explain them in as simple language as possible. The book does not cover the entire traditional topics in the subject Constitutional law. It has been written following closely the syllabus of Mzumbe University in the subject. But then it does not cover all the topics and so topics like separation of powers, ministerial responsibility, rule of law and independence of the judiciary have not been covered in this book. It is expected that these topics and others shall be covered in the second part of the book, which is expected to be published in the near future.
