The first part puts forward the guiding principles and main contents of political economy of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era; the second part conducts the epistemology and methodology; the third part reveals the big logic of the new normal of economic development from the time and space dimension; and the fourth part examines the purpose, motivation, necessary conditions and measurement scale of development according to the new development concept; the fifth part discusses the path of building a modern economic system; the sixth part focuses on what China Wisdom and China solution could contribute to the global governance and promoting global development.
Fang Cai, former Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), secretary-general of the presidium of CASS, Member of CASS, chief researcher of the National High-end Think Tank at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and member of the Monetary Policy Committee of the People's Bank of China. His main research areas include labor economics, population economics, economic growth, income distribution, China's economic reform, etc. His main works include China's Economic Development and Its Implications to the World, Beyond the Demographic Dividend, Perceiving Truth and Ceasing Doubts, The "Belt and Road" Handbook (editor-in-chief), and China Wisdom (editor-in-chief), etc. Xiaojing Zhang, is a Professor of Economics and Director of Institute of Finance & Banking, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS); Director of Naitonal Institution for Finance & Development (NIFD); An elected member of Chinese Economists 50 Forum. Prof. Zhang is also the recipient of prestigious awards such as SUN Yefang Financial Innovation Prize for 2015, and SUN Yefang Economics Prize for 2005 and 2007. He actively participated in the research and consultant work on China's 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th Five-Year Plan. He is in charge of the Center for National Balance Sheet¿CNBS¿which is the only institution that releases the annual data for China's National assets and liabilities as well as China's quarterly macro leverage ratio. His research interests are open economy macroeconomics, finance, and development economics.
