The people of Bangladesh consume fish and meat on a regular basis and in varying quantities depending on their ability and willingness to buy them. Consumers play the key role in guiding an economy to the production of goods and services that they demand. The study of consumer behavior is the study of how individuals make decision to spend their money, time and effort on consumption related items. In Bangladesh, monthly per capita consumption of different types of fish and meat increases and expenditure percentage decreases with the increase of monthly income of households. This book investigate the consumption level, effect of several household characteristics and study the buying behavior and influencing factors on fish and meat consumption in the capital of Bangladesh. Multiple Regression Model is used to analyze the relationship of monthly per capita consumption of different types of fish and meat with several household characteristics.
