The aim of this study was to determine the patterns of behavior among coffee drinkers in the city of Skopje, located in Macedonia. A noticeable shift in the consumption of Turkish Coffee has been observed in the society, especially in the younger generation. Moreover the study is attempting to find the relation of coffee consumption in households and today's third places, more commonly known as coffee shops. By using primary data, such as semi-structured interviews combined with two socio-cultural theories, such as the Theory of Habitus by Pierre Bourdieu , and the Theory of Liminality by Victor Turner an image of the behavioral patterns was formed and therefore analyzed.
