Through innovation with both language and the space of the page, these poems explore the boundaries of the sea, survival and the human voice.
Amy Evans has published four chapbooks, Collecting Shells (Oystercatcher, 2011), The Sea Quells (Shearsman, 2013), CONT. (Shearsman, 2015) and PASS PORT (Shearsman, 2018) which form a single poetic sequence. Her poetry, montages, editing and criticism appear in magazines and anthologies in Europe, the US, and Australia. She currently supports Save Our Sounds: Unlocking our Sound Heritage in the Spoken English department of the British Library.
