This book is about phenomena in architecture named as heterotopia which in spatial discourse introduce by French philosopher Michael Foucault. A reader is introduced with theoretical platform about heterotopias not only fro Foucault's essay, but from other theoretical. Startup thesis is that it came the end of utopia, relate to domination spatial discourse in terms of temporal discourse. Special themed spaces are recognized as contemporary heterotopias and as nuclei of culture. Author creates new criteria for recognizing contemporary heterotopias and analysis case studies as spaces which became from aspiration artists show how themed spaces can become nuclei of culture.
