Water and wastewater management drives are becoming increasingly daunting, as the scarcity of water for various uses becomes a reality presently, and engineering technologies for both water and wastewater treatments become generally cost-inhibitive and requiring high expertise. A modular low-cost approach is proposed for managing raw water and domestic sewage. Such a comprehensive approach to managing both water and wastewater is very admirable for low-cost sustainable management drives, especially in developing countries that mostly neither have sufficient financial muscle nor enough expertise to follow other costly and expertise-intensive routes.
